The Tienda Amazonas platform was previously crippled by a “dirty code” environment, burdened by over 30 unmaintained plugins, expired licenses, and a disorganized web of custom scripts. Operating on an obsolete theme and an outdated PHP version, the site suffered from critical security vulnerabilities and severe performance bottlenecks that made even simple updates impossible. This technical debt acted as a barrier, preventing the brand from scaling or maintaining a secure shopping environment for its customers.

We built a custom-coded plugin from scratch specifically to handle the massive logistical challenge of 800+ shipping zones. This engine automates dynamic, weight-based pricing, ensuring accuracy in shipping costs and eliminating the manual errors associated with the previous disorganized setup.
By upgrading the site to the latest PHP version and removing an obsolete theme, we eliminated critical security vulnerabilities. This migration significantly increased the site’s speed and stability, making the platform future-proof and ready for ongoing updates.
To preserve the brand's visual identity without the baggage of legacy code, we developed unique, lightweight Elementor blocks. This allows the Tienda Amazonas team to manage their content through a user-friendly interface while ensuring the front-end remains fast, clean, and professional.
